The Tropical Education Center, Belize Zoo - Started in 1983, now settled on 29 acres of tropical savanna, exhibiting over 125 animals, all native to Belize.
FRIENDS OF NATURE (FoN) - A Non-Governmental conservation Organization, located in Placencia, Belize C.A. FoN co-manages Gladden Spit and Silk Cayes Marine Reserve with the Fisheries Department as well as Laughing Bird Caye National Park with the Forestry Department. Their aim is to preserve and promote the sustainability of marine resources, islands, and cayes for our children and the country of Belize. This is evident in their organizational motto "Protecting our natural resources by developing our human resources."

HEALTHY REEF - The Healthy Reefs for Healthy People Initiative is an international, multi-institutional effort that tracks the health of the Mesoamerican Reef, the human choices that shape it and our progress in ensuring its long-term integrity.
NATIONAL GARIFUNA COUNCIL OF BELIZE – A non-governmental organization representing the indigenous Garifuna people of Belize. Our mission is to preserve, strengthen and develop our culture as well as promote economic development of the Garifuna people.
PROTECTED AREAS CONSERVATION TRUST - The Protected Areas Conservation Trust is a fund dedicated to encourage and promote the conservation and management for sustainable use of Belize's natural and cultural resources, to enhance and sustain the quality of life for Belizeans.
